January is, unfortuntately, our slowest time of year for many reasons. This month, we will focus on making room for new things, reorganizing, and planning to make the store even better - all traditional New Years activities! Expect a pick up in new and returning stock starting in mid February.
In order to be the best we can be, and be helpful for all your toy needs, Teaching Toys and Book will be closed 1/19, and Teaching Toys Too will be closed 1/26, for inventory. Hours for both stores will remain 10am-6pm unless otherwise noted.

A very Happy Christmas and a Happy Hannukah to those who celebrate! As the month goes on, there will little to no more large deliveries that will majorly change the store. Instead, our focus will turn to making the store as easy and pleasant to shop this holiday season!

Teaching Toys will be closed 12/25-26 in observation of the holiday. We will also be closing early 12/24 at 4pm, and 12/31 at 3pm. To accomodate the most ammount of customers, we will now be staying open late every day, 10am-8pm, until Christmas Eve.

Why does everyone think November is a pessimist? Because it always starts things off with a "no"!
Thank you every one who purchased Proctor Pumpkins this year so we were able to host Proctor Treats without a hitch! There were so many amazing costumes, even with the weather being less than ideal. Thank you everyone!

A very Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates! While we will be closed 11/28 for the holiday, starting 11/29, Teaching Toys will be opened everyday until 8pm until Christmas Eve. How do you compliment a pumpkin on Halloween night? You tell her she is gourd-geous!
Charm It! Charms are restocked, full of animals, objects, and lockets! Halloween charms are a must, with a glow in the dark spider, cute pumpkin, and spooky Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Iwako Japanese Erasers are the cutest erasers you've ever seen, from animals to food, to sports, and more! Get them individually or collect the diffferent themed blister packs!
Glow in the dark stars and planets are just waiting to fill your ceiling!
Baby Paper is a crinkly, satisfying experience for little ones! Fabric squares are the standard, and have plenty of designs, but we also recieved Crinkle Critters, a new form of satisfaction that fills the entire body of a stuffed animal!
Lots and lots of Great Pretender jewelry and costumes made the store look so much more colorful!
A bunch of new and favorite games are back! Hasbro Games is back on the shelves, with classics like Bop It! and Simon, as well as Continuum Games popular card games like Blink, Phase 10, and Skipbo. Some new games to look out for: Trio, Hearding Cats, Number Crunch, Wake Up the Beast!, and Clarendon's Vintage Games.

Halloween is just around the corner, which means Halloween toys are now ready for purchase! They will be displayed together in the store, with anything from plush to puzzles, games to glamourous accessories. Hopefully we'll see you all dressed up during Proctor Treats! Happy Halloween!

What is a tree's least favourite month? Sep-timber!
Feeling fidgety? Creative QT has tons of different slime kits to make your own! If you'd rather have yummy smelling slimes you don't have to make yourself, Dope Slimes has tons of different options, including Astronaut Ice Cream and Dole Cool Whip.
Eeboo puzzle favorites are back, including 1000 and 500 pc puzzles for adults, and 20 and 100 pc puzzles for kiddos!
Make room for Douglas plush, because we got a lot! Dogs, sea animals, birds and more.
Speaking of plush, Aurora toys got a major restock, with tons of new designs. Their lines Tasty Peach, Palm Pal, and Spudster were also expanded on!
Schleich rubber animals are back, filling our shelves to the brim. There are tons of new animals, real and fake, including an Ice Dragon and a Poison Dart Frog.
Smart Toys and Games introduced two new games, Reverso and IQ Jigsaw. SmartMax was also fully restocked!

Tons of science kits were added to the shelves, including new projects like the Sweet Candy Perfume Lab and Robotics Junior.

No special events this month, but keep an eye out at both locations for Halloween and Fall selections!
Lots and lots of party bin things, both squishy and speedy, will be added throughout the month. Perfect for party favors or, if you're feeling ambitious, Christmas stocking stuffers.
