Papo American Buffalo

The North American bison is, along with the European bison, one of the two remaining bison species today. This imposing animal can reach 6 ft. at the withers for an average weight between 900 and 2000 lbs! It is characterized by an impressive head and the presence of two short and curved horns. The latter play an important role in the internal struggle within the herd but also for defense. Did you know, since May 2016 the buffalo is the official mammal of the United States.
