Papo Templar Knight

The order of the Temple is a Christian and military order appeared in a context of holy war and crusades. Its members, the Knights Templar, were of different origins and conditions, and their mission was to accompany and protect the pilgrims on the road to Jerusalem. Their belonging to the order and to Christendom was symbolized by the famous red cross of the Knights Templar.
